Emoquo is a personalised digital coach for when you need confidential help at work. Emoquo offers practical coaching advice to its clients’ employees to resolve everyday workplace challenges quickly, easily and in confidence. Users interact with the Emoquo service through the Emoquo app which is a Conversational User Interface.

The existing solution

We engaged with Emoquo at the point of developing upon their MVP product. The technology was in place with a rudimentary UI which was being used to demonstrate the core features of the application. Our task was to create a more fluid user experience for users; inspiring confidence in an easy to use service.

The Goal

Rapidly design a new mobile-first, Conversational User Interface to support new features and a much more effective user experience.

As a conversational UI, user journeys are not linear. The main challenge was to design a UI which took into account every permutation of how content is delivered to the user.

The key requirement was a mobile-first design process as most users interact via their mobile devices.

We needed to collaborate closely with Emoquo’s in-house development team to ensure that we delivered quality design solutions that were faithfully implemented in code.
